As recommended by Shurflo, I adjusted the Check Valve, Shurflo part #94‑800‑03. It's held onto the pump head with 3 screws and uses a 5/64" Allen wrench to adjust. Shurflo advised to turn the screw counter-clockwise, which I did, without any success. I figured if I'm replacing all the parts, it would be close to the price of a new pump.
